Bruno Azevedo

Researcher

BSc in Mechanical Engineering from PUC-Rio, BSc in Medicine (2010) and MSc in Cardiology (2011), both from UFF, Rio de Janeiro. PhD candidate in Cardiology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Currently a researcher at the Laboratory of Fluids Engineering, developing projects in the Cardiovascular Engineering area, studying  in particular in vivo blood flow and in vitro simulations of the cardiovascular system, using the rapid prototyping technique combined with PIV and Echo-PIV (Echocardiography Particle Image Velocimetry). These projects are developed in partnership with the National Cardiology Institute, INC/MS.
